Calgary has over 150 community associations that represent different neighborhoods across the city. Plus a few hundred more special interest buildings. These associations are non-profit organizations that work to improve the quality of life in their communities by organizing events, providing services, and advocating for residents. 

But that does not mean they are immune from vandalism, vagrancy or other disturbances.
